How threaded hair removal was born

Threaded hair removal was born about 6000 years ago in the regions of India and Persia, where women used it for special occasions. It soon spread to Arab countries and became the most widespread hair removal technique because it was effective, precise and free of contraindications. The method is surprising in its simplicity: a thin cotton thread is rolled between the fingers like a spiral and passed with rapid movements over the area to be treated, in order to capture the hair at the base and tear it up to the follicle .
